Last night (June 13), music legend Prince was inducted into Apollo Theater's Walk Of Fame.

LL Cool J hosted the event, which is a part of the iconic theater's annual "Spring Gala." There will also special guest performances by Andra Day, The O'Jays, Leon Bridges and more.

Back in 2009, Prince performed at the event where he helped other inductees be honored. However, today was the legend's turn to be celebrated.

Walking on 125th in Harlem and being able to see The Purple One's Walk Of Fame spot is going to be a brand new treasure of all of those who walk the infamous street everyday.

This celebration comes after Prince was found dead in his Minnesota compound's elevator, back in April. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that we found out that his death was caused by a terrible drug overdose.

R.I.P. to the icon.
